About Claire

Born and raised in the Midwest, Claire has always lived a healthy and active lifestyle, and constantly strives to help those around her better themselves as well…whether it’s in the gym, around the country, or traveling around the world.

Claire began her fitness career at an early age as a classically trained dancer, and was fortunate to compete and perform at home and abroad.  In high school, Claire discovered the gym and solidified her love for health and fitness.  She became an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Group Fitness instructor and an International Fitness Trainers of America (IFTA) Certified Personal Trainer in 2014, and in 2015 earned her certification as an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer.  She also holds a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters of Science, both in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.  Her husband’s United States Marine Corps career has taken them from coast to coast and she’s extremely grateful for those who serve – past, present, and future.

Claire’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients discover their personal motivation to become healthier and pursue dynamic fitness goals with a balanced lifestyle, regardless of their past.

“I can’t say enough great things about working with Claire. I trained with her over Skype for 12 weeks last summer in advance of several friends’ weddings, which I was motivated to get into shape for. I spoke with Claire before our first session about my goals and objectives, namely strengthening and toning, and the areas on which I’d like to focus, namely abs, butt, and legs. Claire was very open and flexible to crafting a unique workout plan which helped to build strength and flexibility, and then once I got the basics down, she took the workouts to the next level to help me to tone and build muscle. Claire was very interested in feedback after each session and was always checking in to see if there is anything she should tweak to improve my experience.

Additionally, Claire was very accommodating with regard to scheduling our sessions. I work full time, and could only meet at 6AM EST, which she was happy to do. Initially, I was a little worried about the Skype aspect of the experience, but the technology always worked well, and I could see her doing each move/exercise and could always hear her clearly. She was excellent about talking me through adjustments and was very focused on making sure I was doing each exercise correctly.

I was extremely out-of-shape (“deconditioned”) when we first started working together but saw noticeable results very quickly. Claire was able to build on what I learned in the first few sessions to make each workout challenging, exciting, and fresh. Toward the end of our sessions, Claire and I worked on designing exercise programs and modules I could do on my own, and Claire was very open to talking to me about what I can and should be doing in the gym to sustain my results.

There aren’t enough good, positive words to share about Claire.  Claire is extremely flexible to work with.  She has met early mornings at my office gym, the beach, or my house.  Regardless of the location, space limitations in my house, or dogs running around while working out, Claire always provides a challenging workout that is different every time.  We’ve done 15 sessions, and each one is different than the last.  Her workouts are dynamic, which is something I was looking for after getting tired of the treadmill and weight room.
